Designed by Helen Kontouris, the Botanical Planter range provides an aesthetic and practical way to introduce greenery in various applications. Objects of sculptural beauty in their own right, the Botanical Planter Screens were inspired by Helen’s visits to botanical gardens and her love of Australian native flowering plants. Intertwined with vigorous climbing plants — whether ornamental or bearing edible fruits and vegetables, these versatile screens can be used indoors and out to bring the healing power of nature into urban environments. Unlike more complex ‘green walls’ and vertical gardens, each Botanical Planter Screen functions in the same way as a single, self-watering planter pot — keeping ongoing maintenance to a minimum.
“I want people to feel that they are connected with nature and nourished,” says Helen Kontouris, “with a feeling of being relaxed, a feeling of enjoying the color of greenery around them and of having something beautiful and alive near them or next to them.”
Available in two distinct shapes, each inspired by Australian flora, the Botanical screens are ideal for commercial and residential use.
