Stylecraft would like to congratulate the prestigious Good Design Award winners in the Furniture & Lighting category. Place by Ross Gardam, Avion by Keith Melbourne and Bauhaus by Helen Kontouris for LEN, all achieved a GOLD accolade in recognition for outstanding design and innovation.
The annual Good Design Awards is one of Australia’s oldest and most prestigious Awards for design and innovation, dating back to 1958. Covering a range of categories, over 50 Good Design Jurors evaluate each entry according to a strict set of design criteria which covers ‘good design’, ‘design innovation’ and ‘design impact’. A record number of entries were received in 2020 and Dr. Brandon Gien, CEO of Good Design Australia has acknowledged that “Australia’s Good Design Award is more than a symbol of design excellence — it represents the hard work and dedication towards an innovative outcome that will ultimately make our lives better. These projects showcase the sheer brilliance of design and the potential it has to improve our world.”
